1 hit and 1 crit are exactly the same , if you dont
have for example the 1.3 multiplyer - some hunters have.
let me explain it in Vaneks Words how the calculation works...
if you start a strike agains a same lvl mob
you have a base chance to hit this mob of 95%
so there will be a random 100 roll that checks
if you hit
1-95 HIT | 96-100 MISS
now you also have critical hits , which will be at the beginning of this scale, also in an
area where you would hit in every case !!!
for example 20% chance
1-20 CRIT | 1 - 95 HIT | 96 - 100 MISS
so a crit will allways be a hit , but a hit that would make dmg , even if you would NOT have the chance to crit.
This means that a crit doubles damage in a case where dmg would be dealt in every case
and a Hit , deals dmg in a case no dmg would be dealt normaly. So 100% damage gain in both cases.
never ever there will "proc" the chance to hit
AND the chance to crit in one strike.
Now it´s only up to you what you need or prefer
more. Hunters get 130% from a crit , rouges may
lose massiv dps if they miss an evi - so it´s
very individual whats better for your dmg output.
But on the paper both are worth the same.
The problem with this ring is , that a player
who is in a Nefarian slaying Raid grp. will
already have a good amount of +hit items
so he/she can´t get any use of it cause he won´t
miss anymore - so a crit would be a much better
damage upgrade.

Meine Frage hierzu (20%crit)
1-20= crit
1-20=wf proc
1-95=hit
96-100= miss
würd bedeuten, dass das phänomen das immer ein
crit bei nem wf proc drin ist, kein zufall ist^^
