  • * Mages
    - Mages will now have a choice of one of seven different icons for their "Mage Armor" spell.
    - Intellect no longer gives mages a spell critical strike bonus. Instead mages will now recieve a spell critical bonus from spirit at a conversion of 22 spell critical rating per 155 spirit since spirit is much more of a core stat for magi.
    - Evocation no longer gives mana based on regeneration from spirit, rather the spell will now grant four (4) ticks of mana equal to the mages total agility.
    - The Dampen Magic and Ampify Magic spells have been altered and now have their mana cost increased by 150% and duration reduced to 82 seconds.
    - The Dampen Magic buff now decreases spell damage taken by 1% and decreases healing taken by 99%. This buff also attaches a sign to the target's back that reads, "I never get any heals anyways".
    - The Amplify Magic buff now increases spell damage taken by 201% and increases the chance that you will be overhealed by 10%. In addition, should the target ever recieve any spell damage while the buff is active, the mage is automatically removed from the group/raid and gkicked.
    - Detect Magic now has a 10 minute cooldown and effects a 10 minute cooldown on the mage spell, "Spellsteal". This prevents any mage from exploiting the ability by actually seeing what useless buff they will steal before they die.
    - Pyroblast now has a 3 minute cast time since it was being exploited by players actually seen casting this spell more than once every 3 minutes without the uberleet zomgbbq forum-exploding wtfpwnage macro. It is now only usable in conjunction with the talents "Presence of Mind" and "Arcane Power". Additionally this cast will cause the mage to join the guild "iwin lol" for 15 seconds. When the 15 seconds are over the mage will automatically /gquit and join the guild "ihave no skillz. free HK here" until the cooldowns reset.
    - Arcane missles now costs 2,599 mana and makes the sound, "pew pew". If cast in a battleground and gone uninterrupted for the full 5 seconds, any mage, rogue, warrior, felhunter, shaman or any other class within 50 yards that can lock out a spell school immediately explodes. Should the spell be interrupted and the mage's arcane tree be locked, the ability is immediately removed from the mage's spellbook and must be retrained for 5g at a mage trainer who smacks the mage in the head.
    - "Slow" has been renamed to, "Rank 1 Frostbolt"
    - Prismatic Cloak has been buffed to no longer reduce any damage, but now makes the mage glow in the dark. Neato!
    - Arcane Fortitude has been changed to give armor equal to a percentage of strength
    - The tooltip for the "Ignite" talent has been changed to reflect its new functionality. It now reads, "Your Fire spell criticals might deal somewhere between 0% and 40% of its damage over some unknown period of time in the relatively near future.... we think. Also increases the frequency of "QQ" forum posts by frost mages by 50% because the extra 5% critical damage you never really got looks better than ice shards when theorycrafting".
    - The "Frozen Core" talent has been changed to do absolutely nothing. Now costs 5 talents points.
    - The "Arctic Winds" talent no longer has an effect on ranged attacks, but instead blows a cold breeze up the trousers of night elf hunters effecting a 50% chance that the legolas wannabe drops his bow and does the 'star wars kid' dance with his new leet melee purples.
    - The "Dragon's Breath" ability is now castable only after a melee attack to insure that the target is close enough. In addition, this spell now effects the cooldown on blastwave, combustion, frost nova, evocation and Orgrimmar/Ironforge portals.
    - Counterspell now requires a 3 second cast.
    - All mage water filters have been replaced.
    - The Water Elemental now properly has the hitpoints equal to that of a totem and a passive ability which causes the Elemental to send tells to any priest within 80 yards saying, "giev fort buff".
    - The Blazing Speed buff increases the chance of all crippling poisons to be reapplied by 100%. In addition, a rogue's "Cloak of Shadows" ability now also removes this buff from any mage within 20 yards since occasionally this talent caused the rogue to be unable to kill the mage.
    - "Empowered Fireball" has been deemed overpowered and reduced to 10 ranks and increases the bonus spell damage of the mage's "Fireball" spell by 0.1% per rank. However, the mage's fireballs are now "empowered" so any fireball hit now also creates a "BOOM" sound effect when it lands.
    - The range on all arcane spells has been reduced to 10 yards.
    - The "Mana Shield" ability now consumes all Mana Gems and effects the cooldown on Evocation
    - The "Invisibility" spell now properly puts a brown paper bag over the mage's head.
    - New Talent: "Improved Invisibility", allows the mage to participate in a game of 'Marco/Polo' with nearby enemies.

  • - Mages can no longer use Water because it causes the Mages to be not oom which doesn't really matter because every trashmob in any epic instance will 1-hit them.


    - Mage will be renamed to Water dispenser and receive a very new epic look helping them to avoid threat of mobs and to fulfill their intended task - stand before the instance and provide the raid with either hot or cold water and colorful candys.
