Beta Patchnotes
I'm not sure if it made the talent trees, but we changed Frost Strike to be an instant attack with no chance to Freeze but bonus damage vs frozen targets. Use Chains or get a random freeze and then use Icy Touch (if talented) or Howling Blast at range or Frost Strike in melée.

- Nerves of Cold Steel has been moved from Tier 3 to Tier 2.
- Annihilation has been moved from Tier 6 to Tier 3.
- Aneurysm has been moved from Tier 8 to Tier 7.
- Merciless Combat has been moved from Tier 8 to Tier 6.
- New Talent - Blood of the North - Tier 8 (5 Points) - Whenever you use a Blood Strike there is a 20/40/60/80/100% chance that the Blood Rune will become a Death Rune when it activates
- Frost Aura increases your Frost Resistance by 32/65 instead of 22/45.

- Improved Corpse Explosion now casts a disease on enemy target that deals 36% of the explosion damage over 15 seconds instead of 9 seconds.

Fakten:
- Der DK wird keinen Wut, Mana oder Energiebalken haben, er besitzt viel mehr einen "Runenkraft" Balken welches sich durch ein trainiertes talent langsam von selber, oder durch töten von Mobs wieder auffüllt.
- Jeder skill welcher Runen verbraucht stellt automatisch 10 Runenkraft wieder her
- Des weiteren muss der DK seine Waffe mit Runenversehen, welche laut Blizzard nun festgelegt wurden und zwar auf BB FF UU
- Jede Rasse wird den Todesritter auswählen können.
- Der Todesritter wird mit Level 55 starten
- Es reicht, mindestens einen Charakter Level 55 zu haben, um einen Todesritter zu erstellen - egal auf welchem Server - einzige Beschränkung: Man kann nur einen Todesritter pro Server erstellen.
- Die Todesritter starten in den östlichen Pestländern (im eigenen Startgebiet mit diesmal wirklich EPISCHER Einführungsquestreihe)
- Todesritter bekommen mit 55 gleich Epicmount mit entsprechendem Reitskill. (Danke Neor)
- Todesritter können 1H Schwerter, 1H Kolben, 1H Äxte als Dual Wield tragen, oder 2H Schwerter, 2Hkolben, 2H Äxte UND Polerarms (danke Neor) jedoch keine Fernkampfwaffen (Analog Paladinen, Schamanen und Druiden werden Todesritter eine Art Relikt im Fernkampfslot tragen). Ebenso wird der Todesritter keine Schilde tragen können.
- Todesritter können alle Arten von Rüstungen tragen (Auch Platte).
- Der Todesritter, wird wohl keinen Startbonus auf Berufe bekommen, also wird er seinen gewählten Beruf "nachleveln" müssen.
- Erste Hilfe startet allerdings mit einem Grundskill von 270! (danke Neor)
- Die Waffenskills starten nicht mit dem für das Startlevel maximalem Waffenskill von 275 (lvl 55) sondern mit 270
